City of Syracuse residents can drop off their leaves at the City of Syracuse Department of
Public Works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through Sunday, Nov. 27. The Department of Public Works is located at 1200 Canal Street. The City of Syracuse Department of Public Works began leaf collection Oct. 28 in the Northeast quadrant and will continue leaf pickup throughout the City. DPW is currently in the Southwest quadrant, and will then go to the Northwest, Northeast and Southeast quadrants and continue in that order as weather permits. This is not done on a weekly basis like the quadrant system for yard waste and construction debris; instead, it is done continuously.
